Cancellation policy

Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C.

This policy explains how cancellations work for purchase options, including subscriptions, memberships, recurring payments, pre-sale bookings, deposits, event passes, digital resources and any other flexible payment options offered by Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Some online purchases may include a legal 14-day cancellation period. However, different rules may apply to event bookings for a specific date, digital content once accessed or downloaded, and services that have already started with the customer’s agreement.

One-Off Event Bookings

Most Dreamscape event bookings are for a specific date, time, venue or activity.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled, postponed or significantly changed by us.

If Dreamscape cancels, postpones or significantly changes an event, you will be offered the choice of:

  • a full refund
  • credit to use towards another Dreamscape event
  • an event swap to another suitable Dreamscape event

You can choose the option that works best for you.

Deposits, Pre-Sale Tickets and Reservations

Some events may use deposits, pre-sale tickets or reservation payments to help us confirm numbers, secure venues, buy materials or plan safely.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, deposits, pre-sale tickets and reservation payments are non-refundable unless Dreamscape cancels, postpones or significantly changes the event.

If we cancel, postpone or significantly change the event, you will be offered:

  • a full refund
  • credit
  • an event swap

Memberships and Recurring Payments

If Dreamscape offers a membership, subscription or recurring payment option, the payment details will be shown at checkout before you purchase.

Recurring payments may continue until cancelled.

You can cancel future recurring payments by contacting us or using the cancellation option available through your account, checkout link or payment provider, where available.

Please cancel before your next payment date if you do not want to be charged again.

Cancelling a membership or subscription stops future payments. It does not automatically refund payments that have already been taken, unless:

  • Dreamscape has cancelled the offer
  • the service has not been provided
  • there has been a significant issue with access
  • a refund is required by law
  • Dreamscape agrees to a refund as a goodwill gesture

Where a legal 14-day cancellation period applies, we will handle this in line with your statutory rights.

Access After Cancelling

If you cancel a membership, subscription or recurring purchase option, access may continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless stated otherwise.

For example, if you pay monthly and cancel halfway through the month, you may still have access until the end of that paid month.

Digital Products and Online Resources

Digital downloads, printable resources and online materials are usually available shortly after purchase.

Due to the nature of digital content, digital products are non-refundable once accessed, downloaded or delivered, unless they are faulty, inaccessible or not as described.

By accessing or downloading digital content, you may lose your right to cancel that digital purchase within the usual 14-day cancellation period.

If you experience a technical issue, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.

This may include:

  • resending access details
  • helping you access the resource
  • providing a replacement file
  • offering an alternative format where possible
  • issuing a refund if the issue cannot be resolved

Some digital resources may be created or provided by Dreamscape Inclusive Solutions. Where this applies, the product page will make this clear.

Event Passes, Bundles and Credit

If Dreamscape offers event passes, bundles, account credit or prepaid event options, the details will be shown on the product or booking page.

Unless clearly stated otherwise:

  • credit can only be used towards Dreamscape events, products or offers
  • credit cannot usually be exchanged for cash
  • event swaps depend on available space
  • any price difference may need to be paid
  • unused credit may have an expiry date if stated at the time of purchase

If Dreamscape cancels, postpones or significantly changes the original event connected to your payment, you will be offered a full refund, credit or event swap.

Sponsored Tickets

Sponsored tickets are provided to help make Dreamscape activities more accessible.

Sponsored tickets:

  • cannot be exchanged for cash
  • cannot be sold on
  • cannot be transferred without Dreamscape’s agreement
  • should be returned to Dreamscape if you can no longer attend

If you can no longer use a sponsored ticket, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the space to someone else.

Refund Processing Times

Where a refund is agreed, refunds may take up to 14 days to be processed.

Refunds will usually be returned to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please note that your bank, payment provider or third-party platform may take additional time to show the refund in your account after it has been issued.

UK consumer guidance also refers to refunds being made within 14 days in relevant cancellation and return situations.
