For anyone who may feel lonely, isolated, or overwhelmed at Christmas. Come as you are and enjoy festive food, gentle activities, and community connection in a calm, inclusive space.

About the event

Christmas can be a lovely time, but it can also feel lonely, emotional or overwhelming for many people.

A Seat at the Christmas Table is being created to bring people together in a calm, inclusive and welcoming way.

The event will be designed for people who may not have anyone around Christmas, people experiencing loneliness or isolation, and those who may find traditional festive events too busy, loud or pressured.

You do not need to arrive confident.

You do not need to know anyone.

You do not need to join in with everything.

You are welcome as you are.

Volunteer with us

We will need kind, calm and reliable volunteers to help make the event run smoothly.

Volunteer roles may include:

You do not need to be loud or overly confident. We are looking for people who are kind, patient and willing to help create a safe, welcoming space.

Christmas Present Hunt

We will also be collecting gifts for our Dreamscape Christmas Present Hunt.

Two years ago, our founder hid around 20 presents for people in the community to find.

Last year, our founder personally hid around 60–70 presents.

This year, through Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C., we would love to make it bigger and better.

The Christmas Present Hunt will take place the week before Christmas. This event will be one of our gift collection points.
