What to Expect at a Dreamscape Meet-Up
Coming to something new can feel scary.
You might wonder who will be there, where to go, what to say, whether you will fit in or whether you will feel awkward.
At Dreamscape, we try to make those first steps feel softer.
Our meet-ups are designed to be calm, low-pressure and welcoming.
They might be a meal, walk, board games session, creative activity, coffee meet-up, pool night or gentle community space.
Each event may look a little different, but the Dreamscape approach stays the same.
You do not have to be loud.
You do not have to join in straight away.
You do not have to know anyone first.
You do not have to explain yourself.
When you arrive, there will usually be someone from Dreamscape there to welcome you or help you know where to go.
If you feel nervous, that is completely okay.
Lots of people do.
You can talk, listen, sit quietly, take part slowly or simply be around others.
Some people come because they want to make friends.
Some come because they feel lonely.
Some come because they want to try something new.
Some come because they need somewhere calmer to start.
There is no one right reason to come.
Before booking, we aim to share helpful details such as the date, time, location, price, age guidance and what to expect.
If you are unsure about anything, you can contact Dreamscape before attending.
A Dreamscape meet-up is not therapy or clinical support.
It is community connection.
It is a place to start gently.
You are welcome to arrive as you are.
