All Things Christmas – Made with Belonging | 13 November 2026

🎄 All Things Christmas

All ages • Created by the community

Please book if you can so we can prepare the right amount of materials. You’re always welcome to turn up, even without booking—we understand that plans can change.

A relaxed evening of festive making, a treat to take home and present-wrapping help. 💜

Join Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C. for a welcoming evening as we get ready for A Seat at the Christmas Table.

✨ What we'll be doing

• Make festive decorations to help dress A Seat at the Christmas Table on Sunday 22 November.

• Create a Christmas treat to take home.

• Join our present-wrapping workshop. Whether you love wrapping or would like a little help with yours, come and join us.

Choose the activities that feel right for you and take part at your own pace. No experience is needed. Come on your own or with someone you know, chat if you feel comfortable, or enjoy making quietly alongside others.

💜 Made with Belonging – Derbyshire Makes

We are delighted to have been awarded a Derbyshire Makes Creative and Community Grant by Derbyshire County Council to support the creative work we are doing in the county. With the grant, we intend to deliver our Made with Belonging: Heanor Community Making Programme, creating festive decorations and table pieces together for A Seat at the Christmas Table, alongside shared community artwork and sustainable-making activities.

Supported by the Derbyshire Makes Creative & Community Grant from Derbyshire County Council.

These November workshops are part of our Made with Belonging: Heanor Community Making Programme, which brings people together through Christmas making and continues with creative activities in spring. The pieces created will be displayed at A Seat at the Christmas Table and again during the Derbyshire Makes Festival, running 3 April–8 May 2027. This Christmas work is a stepping stone towards the programme’s spring activities.
