Something very special is coming to Heanor this November, and it will take a whole community to make it happen.
As we prepare for A Seat at the Christmas Table on Sunday 22 November, we're inviting our Community Companions, people who have already offered to help and anyone curious about getting involved to join us for a relaxed evening at Café Jaks, Heanor.
Whether you've been supporting Dreamscape for months or this is the first time you've heard about what we're doing, we'd love to welcome you.
✨ What can you expect?
- Meet the Dreamscape team and other Community Companions.
- Hear more about A Seat at the Christmas Table and the plans for the day.
- Discover different ways you might be able to help, before or during the event.
- Ask questions, share ideas and find out about Community Companion opportunities.
- Get to know some friendly faces in a relaxed, informal setting.
No experience needed. No pressure to commit. You don't need to know anyone, and you don't have to speak up in a group. If you'd rather come along, listen and get a feel for things first, that's completely fine.
Whether you can give a little time, share a skill, help us prepare or simply want to understand more about Dreamscape, every bit of kindness matters.

We'll aim to start: Between 6:45pm and 7:00pm
