Join Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C., Afrifoods Hub, Mimi’s Soul Food and Cupcakery for a relaxed Food, Culture & Connection Evening.

This will be a calm, low-pressure evening where you can try a variety of food tasters, explore African ingredients and products, learn a little about the dishes, and connect with others in a welcoming community space.

There will be music playing in the background, but no forced activities or pressure to join in. You can take part as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Food may include tasters such as:
Sadza, Boerewors, Vegetable Curry, Creamed Kale, Vegetable Fried Rice, Chakalaka, Spicy Beef Bites, Jollof Rice, Fried Plantain, Stick Meat, Puff Puff, Chicken Shawarma Wraps, Yam Porridge, Efo Riro and other African-inspired tasters.

Final menu may vary slightly depending on provider availability.

Takeaway option:
Mimi’s takeaway will be available to buy separately on the night.

If you just want to come for takeaway, you can arrive from 7:30pm until 8:15pm and pay £5 on the door. This does not include the full taster event, Taste Passport or activities.

Allergies and dietary needs:
Please tell us about any allergies, intolerances or dietary needs when booking. Food will be clearly labelled on the night, but because this is a shared cooking and shop environment, we cannot guarantee there will be no cross-contamination.

Important:
Pre-booking is preferred. On-the-door tickets may be available if there is space and enough food.

Any surplus from this event goes back into creating future Dreamscape community opportunities.
