Creative Moments: Cake & Create

A gentle pick-and-mix style cake decorating session at Costa Coffee Heanor. Joanne from Café Jak’s will be supporting the session and making our lovely cakes ready for you to decorate.

Join Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C. for Creative Moments: Cake & Create at Costa Coffee, Heanor on Tuesday 21st July 2026, 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

This is a calm, low-pressure pick-and-mix style cake decorating session, where you can choose from a selection of toppings, decorations and creative bits to make your cakes your own.

Joanne from Café Jak’s will be supporting the session and making our lovely cakes ready for you to decorate.

There is no pressure to follow a set design, be perfect or know what you are doing. You can keep it simple, go colourful, make something fun, or just enjoy choosing what feels right for you.

This session is about creativity, choice and gentle connection.

You can come on your own, come with someone, chat if you want to, sit quietly if you need to, or simply focus on decorating at your own pace.

You do not have to copy anyone else.
You can choose your own decorations.
You can keep it simple or get creative.
You can take breaks.
You do not have to talk if you do not want to.
You are welcome to come alone or with someone.

This is a low-pressure creative session, not a formal class or competition.

Costa Access Note

Costa Coffee will be available for Dreamscape participants to access after normal closing hours, so you can enjoy a Costa drink in a calmer, low-pressure space during the session.

Drinks from Costa are available at an additional cost unless stated otherwise.

This session involves food and shared decorating items.

Please contact us before booking if you have any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements so we can check whether the session is suitable.

We cannot guarantee that cakes, toppings, decorations or the environment will be free from allergens.

Age Guidance

This session is mainly aimed at ages 17+.

Young people aged 13+ may attend with a parent or carer.

Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/carer at all times. The parent/carer remains fully responsible for them throughout the session.

Booking Deadline

Bookings close 2 days before the event so we can confirm numbers, cakes, toppings and materials.

Refund, Credit Or Event Swap

Refunds are only available if Dreamscape cancels or postpones the event.

If Dreamscape needs to cancel or postpone this session, you will be offered a refund, credit or event swap.
