Montessori with Marybeth is a calm, adults-only Montessori-inspired evening at Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C.

Held at Park Court, Heanor, DE75 7DS on Tuesday 22nd June from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, this gentle taster session is designed for adults who want to slow down, try something different, and enjoy meaningful hands-on activities in a low-pressure environment.

This evening is also ideal for parents and carers who would like to better understand Montessori-inspired activities and take away simple ideas they may be able to use at home.

What is Montessori?

Montessori is a hands-on approach that supports calm, focus, independence, curiosity, and learning through doing. It uses simple, practical activities that allow people to engage at their own pace without pressure.

What to expect

During the evening, you’ll be able to explore 4 Montessori-inspired activity stations in a calm and welcoming space.

Activities may include:

• pouring and transferring
• sorting and pattern work
• flower or nature arranging
• threading and fine motor activities

There is no pressure to perform, socialise, or get anything right. You are welcome to move between activities at your own pace, spend longer at the ones you enjoy most, or simply take your time settling in.
