Calm & Connect Walk & Picnic

A gentle, low-pressure community walk followed by an optional bring-your-own picnic.

Join Dreamscape Community Connections C.I.C. for our Calm & Connect Walk & Picnic in Heanor.

We’ll start with a gentle community walk at a calm pace, with no pressure to talk, keep up or perform. After the walk, you are welcome to stay for a relaxed bring-your-own picnic if you would like to.

You can come for the walk only.
You can stay for the picnic.
You can walk quietly, chat a little, pause when needed, or simply be part of the group.

This is about fresh air, calm company and gentle connection without pressure.

The picnic is optional.

Please bring your own food and drink if you would like to stay afterwards.

You may also want to bring:

A picnic blanket
A camping chair
Water
Suncream
A coat or layers depending on the weather
Any medication or personal items you may need

Please take any rubbish home with you so we can leave the space clean and respected.

We will aim to keep the walk gentle and low-pressure, but outdoor routes may include uneven ground, paths, slopes, mud or weather-related changes.
